City in the Sky

Here's a piece I did for practice.  It would be awesome to live in a place with low gravity...  I imagine gravity almost pushing up in this, like if you jumped over the edge and fell, then you reversed and went right back up again, yeah that would be awesome...

Designing a character

I did some watercolors awhile back, and I decided to go a little further with one of them.  I took the little girl from the lion painting and did a frontal view of her.  It's just the values, but color is soon to follow.  Enjoy.

Cutest little girl ever!

Trent drew an owl....Surprise Surprise...

It's no secret that I love drawing owls.  I've drawn owls on Skateboards,  I've made Screen Prints.  Some of the first digital art I did was an owl.  So, now that I'm entering a new stage in my art, why not do another owl?  With like...tons of eyes?

Here's looking at you kid

The Voice of the New Electric Sound

You may remember me posting about The New Electric Sound.  We did a poster for them awhile back.  They've been climbing the music ladder in Utah, and they've emerged a pretty awesome band.  So here's a picture I painted of their lead singer Scott Vance.  100% in photoshop, I turned a drawing like this

Happy Easter Dragon

I thought this was the first time I had drawn a dragon, but I did another one earlier that some of you might recall.  I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.  I remember drawing dinosaurs as a kid, but I was never one to draw fantasy creatures.  I would spend most my drawing days, drawing Nightcrawler or other X-men characters.
By far my favorite thing to draw are creatures.  This probably won't be the last dragon you see

Noble Dragon

This looks very much like a lizard

Sharky Shark Shark

This next painting is pretty Jawsome!  This is the first time I recorded myself painting.  So Sit back and enjoy:

Here's the final two pieces.  I added some touch ups after the video, and decided to get rid of the line drawing in one of the pieces.  Which is better, with, or without the line?
