Mariotude on Sunday

Here is the final installment of Mario week.  Let me know your thoughts.  I did everything in Photoshop which was fun, but kind of a new experience for me.  I usually draw it down, and then transfer it over.   Send your own Mario pics!

Mario Friday

I was up working on this piece last night while watching the mario movie.  What's great about the movie is, that it's so true to the game.  Because it's obvious that the game is about a different dimension that spawned cold blooded humans that evolved from dinosaurs.

So I was tired of spitting out crap, so here instead of having today be my last day, I'm going to to extend this piece and work on it on Sunday.  So here's a preview for my Sunday post:

Mario Day 4 or something...

Enjoy the fruits of my labors.  Not one, not two, but three Mario themed Illustrations!  Oh, and one that I didn't finish....

DAY 3 of Mario

So I'm trying to limit the amount of time I invest in these paintings to 2 hours, this one went a little over.  I was doing pretty good until I had to ink it.  Can you guess which Mario character this is. . . it's Bowser.  If you couldn't guess that, then you need to play more video games.

Day 2 of Mario

I recently got a Rapidograph set and this is my first painting with them.  Rapidographs are technical pens, where you can fill it up with your own ink.  The first time I tried using them, was a disaster, but this time I almost got the hang of it.  They aren't like typical pens, they have a thin point that goes up and down inside of the metal tip.  ...Anyway...
Enjoy day 2 of Mario.  Stewart, I expect you to come up with a Mario painting this week.

Mario week!

With Kristy in New York, and me being miserably lonely, I'm dedicating this week to Mario!
That's right, Monday through Friday there will be a new Mario post every day.  Today is this:

Tomorrow will be a new post.

Teletubby Practice painting

It's been awhile since I posted anything so I thought I'd just post a practice painting I did.  I kind of went a little too dark, but hey, this was for practice so who cares.  Enjoy.
