Here's a picture of my college prof.  Perry Stewart.  He was really influential in my progression.  He was advising me on my BFA show but then had an accident,  so I don't know if he's going to get a chance to go.  Hopefully he gets better soon.

hazards of love

For anyone who hasn't heard of the Decemberists, it's time to crawl out from under that rock where you've been living.  They are one of the best bands in existence.  They have narrative lyrics that inspire you to draw them out.  The Hazards of Love is a rock opera they wrote that shares a story about a girl who falls in love with a man who by day is a fawn.  Adventure follows.  Go out and by the album.  Here's a drawing of the queen:

Square chicken

How many chicken nuggets does a chicken make?  I guess it depends on how much of it is chicken or not.  I'm sure there's a lot of filler and junk.  Here it my favorite response to that question from yahoo answers

Who's asking that chicken the question?

A square chicken would be cool.  It would probably do mime and pretend it's in a box.  Square chickens would be fierce and they would hate circle chickens.  I wonder how many times I can throw in the word Square chickens.  If someone googled square chickens would this post come up?  I'll shut up and show you some square chickens.  ...Here's some square chickens:
