Bear Boy: Chapter one
The soon to come public online comic book! The best part is that it's free! I'll be writing the first chapter and based on the public response, i.e. your comments, you finish the story. that's right, YOU WRITE THE STORY. isn't that great? Here's the cover for the first chapter(soon to come).
Have fun writing the story, my toasted public. I'll be keeping busy drawing your ideas. feel free to comment or e-mail, or just walk up to me and tell me in the street what you want the next scene to be. And hey, if it sucks....well it'll be your fault.

ReplyDeleteWhen the boy puts on his bear suit everyone around him turns into bears. Its like a super-power but it effects everyone else rather than himself. His parents are great bears but other people are not so nice when they are bears. Some get power hungry when they are bears. The scene opens at a park. He is wearing his suit and playing on the jungle gym. Other bears are playing too. Some are running and some are playing soccer. They get upset every time they pop a soccer ball with the sharp bear claws. Some mother bears are pushing around cubs in strollers and one adventuresome cub is crawling out of the stroller and onto the back of her unsuspecting mother. bear boy is pushed from behind by a bigger bear. This chapter is about bullying because the boy bear has to stand up for himself against bears when he himself is not one of them but simply made them that way. The scene ends with the boy once again in normal clothes and at the same playground. Everything is the same except instead of bears there are people of all different ages, races, etc. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteSo chapter one is on bullying, I think chapter two needs to tackle the issue of racism. Something about polar bears, black bears, grizzly bears, koala bears (which are not bears at all!) all coming together to fight injustice and ignorance.
